Synonymous with timber

The Betts family name has been associated with timber building manufacturing for over 60 years!

Betts of Brandon is now on its fourth generation of shed makers with Ted Betts, great grandson of Bob Betts, now starting his apprenticeship with in the company.

Our Origins

In 1995 we started with the manufacturing of children’s playhouses with the total of over 2000 playhouses manufactured in which some are still around today!

Shed Manufacturing

In 2001 Betts of Brandon expanded into the shed manufacturing business supplying solely to companies , ranging from local authorities, education authorities, ministry of defence and national health to name but a few!

Start of our Heritage range

We expanded into the private sector with the heritage range of sheds , using our many years of experience to provide a timber building which meets our customers needs

Expanding our offering

In 2022 we added the Traditional and Classic range followed by the Essential range in 2025

Addition of our Show Room

Since 1995 we have been operating from a very old timber barn , however, we are now in the process of constructing a modern purpose built factory on a 1 acre site ( next to our old factory ) which includes a drying shed, treatment facilities with a large show site with disabled access. In 2026, we'll be starting the process of adding plug in hybrid vehicles to our fleet.

We're proud sponsors of Brandon in Bloom and help out with their projects when ever we can

Since 1995 we've also displayed our company at our local Weeting Steam Rally, again embedding our company as part of the local community.

Brandon based

As a small local family company, wherever we can we purchase our supplies with 20 miles of Brandon (even the timber is supplied from a local mill, which is FSC certified) to keep as much money as we can in the local community and ensuring the deliveries to our site are as green as possible.
